What is the time of the Devotion?
Tranquility is the time to fellowship with God personally through the Word and the regularly organized Prayer
- Devotion time is a time to fellowship with God
Communion with God in Bible metaphors:
- God with His Temple - 1 Cor. 6:19
- The vine and its branch - John 15: 5
- The bridegroom with the bride - Isa 62: 5, Rev 21: 2
- Father and Son - Gal. 4: 6, John 1:12

- The quiet time is the time to fellowship with God in private: can not be through others, or represented.

2 Tim 3: 16-17: All scripture that is inspired by God is beneficial to teach, to declare mistakes, to correct behavior and to educate people in righteousness. Thus every man belonging to God is equipped for every good deed.

HOW TO DO TIME?
Step 1: God favors
- Preparation of hearts - Ps. 130: 5-6, Ps. 57: 8-9
- Please Lead the Holy Spirit - John 16:13, James 1: 5
- Pour out the heart to God, praise and worship God
- Reading, listening, waiting for God and
Step 2: Llisten to God
- Reading the Word of God - Mt 5: 6, 2 Tim 3: 16-17. Ask God to give understanding - Ps. 119: 18. Preferred Bible passages, peruse step by step and repeatedly.
Read the Bible material (pericope) first and repeatedly. - Meditate on the Word of God - James 1: 22-25, Ps. 1: 1-3

- Hold the promise of God's Word that provides comfort, reinforcement, affirmation
-Doing something: to make a determination to carry out what has been learned in practical action today.

TIME AND PLACE
Personal time with God begins by providing time and place to God and God alone. If we truly believe that God is not only there, but He is also present actively and dynamically in your life: healing, teaching, guiding, then we need to provide time and place where we can give our attention to God unbroken - Henry J.M. We can use all the right techniques and methods, we can use the best liturgy, but we have not fellowship with God until the Spirit touches the spirit .....
